Jason Billin is officially the Remain Alliance candidate for Rushcliffe. The Green Party reached an agreement to stand aside in favour of the Liberal Democrats here in Rushcliffe. In return the Lib Dems will stand aside in other areas so that the remain vote can be maximised.

Remain campaign group Best For Britain have published their tactical voting advice and they strongly back voting Liberal Democrat in Rushcliffe as the most effective way of stopping Brexit.

What are the odds? Well, the bookmakers Paddy Power are currently making the Lib Dems the clear second favourite to the Conservatives with Labour in third place.

Retiring MP Ken Clarke has said in recent weeks that the Liberal Democrats stand a good chance in his former seat and that he may even be tempted to vote for us himself.

The choice is clear - You can have a Brexit supporting Conservative candidate who has been parachuted in from Wales or you can elect local man Jason Billin, the Liberal Democrat candidate. Labour can't win here.
